Spacious comfortable rooms with original oak beams and oak floors. Each room has a super-king double bed (6ft wide), which may be converted to twin beds if required.

Each en-suite room has a sitting area with sofa or chairs, flat screen TV/DVD player, books and magazines and a comprehensive ‘What to Do’ folder.

Tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge with fresh milk, chilled drinking water and mineral water. Please let us know if you prefer soya or goats milk. A basket of speciality teas and some little extras is on the landing table

Good size bathrooms with big soft towels and bath robe, stocked with hand made goat’s milk soap, produced locally and wrapped especially for us.

We provide a full Shropshire breakfast (Breakfast Menu) and packed lunches if required.

Bed and breakfast guests have a private parking space, and there is also a barn for cycle storage.

In the summer our guests are welcome to sit out in the sheltered garden and have a cup of tea or glass of wine and admire the views towards the Shropshire hills.

We are happy to advise on the varied walking and cycling routes, and have cycle and walking leaflets and maps for our guests to use.

For guests staying two or more nights we offer a laundry service. There is also an iron and ironing board for guest use.

We also offer guests our Clun apartment on a bed and breakfast basis, for stays of three nights or longer, where guests have the extra privacy of their own entrance combined with extra space. It is extremely popular with couples celebrating an anniversary or special occasion, as our guestbook shows.
