Bed & Breakfast

Spacious comfortable rooms with original oak beams and floors. Each room has a super-king double or king-sized double bed which may be converted to twin beds if required.

Each en-suite room has a sitting area with sofa or chairs, flat screen TV/DVD player, books and magazines and a comprehensive What to Do folder. A basket of speciality teas is on the landing table.

Tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge with fresh milk, chilled drinking water and mineral water. Please let us know if you prefer soya milk.

We provide a full Shropshire breakfast (Breakfast Menu) and we can also make packed lunches if required, although we recommend The Happy Bap for the best sandwiches in town.

Bed and breakfast guests have a private parking space, and there is also a barn for storage should you wish to bring your cycles. Guests are welcome to sit out in the sheltered garden and have a cup of tea and admire the views towards the Shropshire hills.

We are happy to advise on the varied walking routes, especially the new long distance route ‘the bc ring’, and have cycle and walking leaflets and maps for our guests to use.

For guests staying two or more nights we offer a laundry service. There is also an iron and ironing board for guest use.

We are now delighted to be able to offer guests our Clun apartment on a bed and breakfast basis, for stays of three nights or longer.

Guests have the extra privacy of their own entrance combined with extra space. It is extremely popular with couples celebrating an anniversary or special occasion, as our guestbook shows.
