The Porch House, located in the centre of Bishop’s Castle, dates from around 1564 and is described by English Heritage as “One of the most important and sumptuous houses in the town”.

Gill and John Lucas welcome you to their wonderful Elizabethan home. Accommodation is available in either a cosy self catering apartment or for bed & breakfast in spacious comfortable en-suite rooms. In 2011 over 25% of our guests were repeat bookings or recommended by previous guests.
